STATE TESTING TO RESUME JULY 15
State HCA Testing:
Prometric will resume ALL Home Care Aide state testing on JULY 15. Testing will likely happen in two shifts per day, a morning group and an afternoon group, of four testers. Testers will be required to bring and wear a mask.

We have no control over this process. Please contact Prometric directly to find out when testing will resume and when your test will be rescheduled.

They should have sent an email letting you know that testing has been cancelled and give your further instructions. If you don't see this email in your inbox, try checking your spam folder.

200 Day Requirement Suspended:
​
The requirement that a person hired as a Long-Term Care worker must be certified as a Home Care Aide within two hundred calendar days after the date of being hired is temporarily suspended.
