NURSE DELEGATION: CORE & DIABETES
This class is self-study with a zoom test.

Our Nurse Delegation Program, under Washington State law, allows nursing assistants and home care aides working in certain settings to perform certain tasks, such as administration of prescription medications or blood glucose testing, normally performed only by licensed nurses.

S&H Training offers both a course for Nurse Delegation Core and a course for Nurse Delegation for Diabetes.
TO TAKE THE ND DIABETES COURSE
YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY TAKEN AND PASSED THE ND CORE CLASS.
Each nurse delegation course includes a self-study workbook and videos. After completing the course, call the office to schedule your competency exam.

Core Exam: requires a score of 80% or higher to successfully receive a DSHS-approved Nurse Delegation Core Certificate and 9 hours of Continuing Education units.
Diabetes Exam: requires a score of 90% or higher to successfully receive a DSHS-approved Nurse Delegation Diabetes Certificate and 3 hours of Continuing Education units.
